Fri. Sept. 15: Virtuoso Variations by Schubert, Rossini, Paganini and Brahms are performed by Jasmin Arakawa, piano; Laura Ardan, clarinet; James Zellers, flute; and Helen Kim, violin.

Yuriy Bekker, violin; William Ransom, piano

Fri. Oct. 20: Artistic Director and Concertmaster of the Charleston Symphony, the distinguished violinist Yuriy Bekker makes his Emory debut with beautiful music of Korngold and Franck.

Concert on the Quad!

Fri. Nov. 3: The annual “Concert on the Quad” features beautiful music for Brass Quintet led by trumpeter Kevin Lyons performing in front of the Carlos Museum on the main Emory Quadrangle. If you like, bring a blanket and a picnic and enjoy the music while you dine alfresco! Raindate: Tues. Nov. 7

Adam Frey, Euphonium

Fri. Nov. 17: One of the elite brass soloists in the world, Adam Frey travels the globe sharing his talents as a performer and advocate for live music. Adam has soloed with orchestras and bands the world over and taught at most of the major Music Schools and Conservatories. His concert will feature fireworks for euphonium that span from the Baroque to virtuoso showpieces and world premieres by Kevin Day and Eric Ewazen.

Ying Huang, piano

Fri. Dec. 1: Dr. Ying Huang is the 1st Prize Winner of the Premio Brasil International Piano Competition, the Boca Symphonic Scholarship Competition, and the National Society of Arts and Letters Competition among many other awards. Her Emory debut will include music of Chopin, Schumann, and Liszt.

The King of Instruments Meets the Instrument of Kings @ Emerson Concert Hall

Fri. January 19: The magnificent Jaeckel Organ in Emerson Concert Hall gets a workout from virtuoso organist Jens Korndoerfer, and is joined by trumpeter Kevin Lyons for some Baroque beauties.

The Three Graces @ Emerson Concert Hall

Fri. Feb. 9: Three of Atlanta’s favorite musicians, pianist Julie Coucheron, cellist Charae Krueger, and Alice Hong, violin, join forces for Mendelssohn’s stunning Trio in D Minor and more.
